once a week for 10 weeks in the studio for hands-on training.

CLASS 3 ~ AUDIO RECORDERS
1) Linear vs. non-linear 2) Analog vs. digital 3) Punch in's, copy, paste, delete
3) Storage devices, ADATS, cleaning 4) Interfaces

CLASS 4 ~ MICROPHONES
1) Types, characteristics, and applications. 2) German vs. Chinese 3) USB and Phantom Power

CLASS 5 ~ COMPUTERS
1) Hardware and software 2) Inputs and outputs 3) Multi-track capabilities and limitations
4) Future possibilities/file exchanging/internet 5) Maintenance 6) PC vs. Mac

CLASS 6 ~ FX + PLUG-INS
1) Reverbs, Delays, Chorusing, Flanging 2) Doubling and Time Delays, Compressors
3) Pitch Correction, Aural Exciters

CLASS 7 ~ ACOUSTICS + MUSIC LAW
1) Dampening and Livening for control booths and studios 2) Remote recordings
3) Recording & Publishing contracts 4) Royalties and Q&A for Music Attorney Doug Schenker
