AUDIO RECORDERS
Analog vs. digital, Punch in's, copy, paste, delete, Storage devices, Interfaces, Speakers, Amplifiers

MICROPHONES
Types, characteristics, and applications, German vs. Chinese, USB and Phantom Power
Create homework for class #3

CLASS 3

COMPUTERS
Hardware and software, Inputs and outputs, Multi-track capabilities and limitations,
File exchanging/internet, Maintenance, Repair, PC vs. Mac

FX + PLUG-INS
Reverbs, Delays, Chorusing, Flanging, Doubling and Time Delays, Compressors
Pitch Correction, Aural Exciters, Noise Reduction,

CLASS 4

ACOUSTICS + MUSIC LAW
Dampening and Livening for control booths and studios, Remote recordings
Recording & Publishing contracts, Royalties, Distribution, Recording session 1

CLASS 5
